ATTENTION: Only 1 month left to join the Parkinson’s Quilt Project (PQP)!

Thursday April 29, 2010

PDF Special Events - With the project coming to an end, we wanted to send a final email to remind you about the PQP, which concludes June 1st, 2010. As previously mentioned, the PQP is the first ever global Quilt project dedicated to creating awareness of Parkinson’s disease. So far we have nearly 600 people registered to make panels from 13 countries around the world and are looking for more!

If you already haven’t, this is a great opportunity for you and your members to get involved in a sustainable project for Parkinson’s disease.

Once the panels are compiled, they will be displayed for the first time at the 2nd World Parkinson’s Congress in Glasgow, Scotland this September. Quilts sections will also be available for rent beginning in January 2011. More information will be available around then.
