Dr. Aldred, a board-certified neurologist fellowship-trained in movement disorders, grew up in Clarksville, TN. He earned degrees in Classics and Biochemistry from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where completed medical school. Drawn to neurodegenerative disorders, he trained in neurology at Oregon Health & Science University, serving as Chief Resident, and completed a two-year fellowship in Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders alongside the Human Investigators Program in clinical research.
At OHSU, he conducted a clinical trial on carbidopa dosing and Parkinson’s symptoms. After fellowship, he founded the movement disorders program at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI, before moving to Spokane, WA, in 2014 to establish his independent practice.
