Did you know that support systems can enhance your daily experience, reduce isolation, and improve outcomes? A support group or self-help group is a confidential space for people with Parkinson's and carepartners to find community, validation, and education. NWPF maintains this listing as a service to the Parkinson's community.
All support groups listed are independent or sponsored by their host agency. NWPF does not fund support groups but makes every effort to provide resources, information, speakers, and facilitation assistance to support group leaders and group members. Please note that any views expressed by support group leaders, members, and guest speakers are based on their personal experience, do not constitute medical advice, and are not necessarily endorsed by NWPF.
If you are a group leader in need of support or resources, or if you would like to start a Parkinson's support group in your community, please contact NWPF Social Services Manager, Sarah Winter, MSW, LICSW at 206.946.6517 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
