A support group for anyone For anyone who has DBS or interested in learning more about i who has DBS or interested in learning more about it! Including people with Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, & dystonia l tremor, & dystonia.

Presented by the Swedish Neuroscience Institute.

Facilitator: Peggy O’Neil Shortt, MN, ARNP, is the manager of the Deep Brain Stimulation Program at Swedish. She oversees all DBS surgical outcomes, communicates with referring doctors, and coordinates pre- and post-operative clinical procedures and follow-up care. She has a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Pacific Lutheran University and a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Washington.

Team Parkinsons NWPF No Year

The third annual Team Parkinson's Walk Seattle will bring people with Parkinson’s, care partners, family, professionals and friends together in one place to celebrate and support the Northwest Parkinson's community. A fun, family oriented and dog friendly two-mile walking course through the beautiful lake-side trails of Magnuson Park offers individuals a chance to exercise, raise awareness, build community and raise funds all at the same time. Also offering a short loop for anyone with mobility issues.
