Our in-house social worker, Dr. Marci Nemhauser, pseudo, is available by phone to assist people with Parkinson’s, their care partners, and their families in thinking through the questions pertinent to managing Parkinson’s. These questions include:
- How a diagnosis of Parkinson's affects all areas of a person's life, including physical, mental, emotional, vocational, social and spiritual health?
- What are the options on how quality of life can be improved in these areas?
Dr. Marci is also able to provide PD related education and resources or simply lend a listening ear.
We have multiple Online Support Groups from different vantage point depending on how you are affected by PD.
Physically
Find something to get your body moving. A study in 2024 out of Yale University showed that High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workouts may reverse Neurodegeneration in Parkinson’s disease.
