STG Dance for PD® classes use dance, live music, and community in a safe and creative environment. Working with professional dancers and teaching artists trained in the Dance for PD® method, participants are inspired to explore movement and music in ways that are refreshing, enjoyable, and stimulating. No dance experience or diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease is required to participate. The classes are always free.

STG Dance for PD® classes are based on the Dance for PD® method developed by Mark Morris Dance Group and Brooklyn Parkinson Group.

STG Dance for PD® is in partnership with Northwest Parkinson’s Foundation, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Lifelong Recreation with Seattle Parks & Recreation and GenCare Lifestyle to provide this program.

Preregistration is required for our classes.

Our online and in-person programs are FREE to you because of the dedication of our partners, instructors, and generous donors. Thank you for helping to support our mission, so that no one walks the Parkinson’s journey alone.
