PD Climbing Spokane 2026



Up Ending Parkinson’s has teamed up with Wild Walls to provide climbing instruction and support to people living with Parkinson’s Disease (PD).
Skilled volunteers will be on hand to belay while you learn to rock climb. You will have guidance to develop independence with indoor rock climbing, starting with learning the fundamentals of fitting a harness, knot tying and proper belaying techniques. As confidence and skill grows, our volunteers will teach advanced techniques and challenges on and off the wall. This 2-hour class is open and appropriate for people with PD of all ages and skill levels.
Offered 1st and 3rd Tuesdays from 1:00-3:00pm
—Limited to 6 participants per class
—Adaptive equipment available to facilitate climbing ability
