Here at Northwest Parkinson's Foundation, our goal is to partner with all people impacted by Parkinson's.
NW Parkinson’s is your local, independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving people impacted by Parkinson’s in the Northwest since 1998.
We are your NW Parkinson’s organization.
All funds raised in the Northwest stay here to meet the needs of our communities – from Alaska to Washington, Idaho, and Montana.
NW Parkinson’s is fiercely independent. We were founded here in the Northwest and don’t have a home office on the east coast. Our staff live and work here. We are funded by the generosity of donations in local communities like yours. Your donations stay here where you live. Please be mindful and keep your dollars local. All of our Masters of Social Work Services, as well as our education and exercise programming are 100% FREE.

As a small, grassroots nonprofit, NW Parkinson’s relies on community input to guide programmatic decisions and advocacy work. Our team understands the dynamic culture, systems, and resources that shape the experience of our Parkinson’s community. We lift up NW support groups and provide consultation to the medical and community-based professionals who also care for our community.

Our programs team curates FREE localized Parkinson’s education, movement, voice, and mindfulness offerings. Our social work team provides FREE personalized care consultations to individuals and families to help them navigate the challenges of life with Parkinson’s. These programs and services are 100% free and therefore accessible to all, regardless of ability to pay.
